TMJ Japan provides translation and interpretation services primarily for major consulting companies and media firms. Our company has received high praise for our translation expertise in specialized fields and for our services that ensure a favorable balance between the delivery timeline, cost, and quality. The number of requests we receive is rapidly rising, and we are currently seeking translators who can. Help us meet this demand and ensure the continued satisfaction of our customers.
Our translators engage in translation work for projects requested by our customers, emphasizing quality and delivery.
Our reviewers review translated deliverables, providing an additional check for quality control.
The translator is contacted by our translation coordinator to check availability.
→If available, the translator coordinates the quality, delivery timeline, and price with the coordinator and commences translation work.
→After completion, the translator delivers the translation to the coordinator.
The reviewer is contacted by our translation coordinator to check availability.
→If available, the reviewer coordinates the quality, delivery timeline, and price with the coordinator and then commences review work.
→After completion, the reviewer delivers the reviewed translation to the coordinator.
*More than 80% of our translation projects are Japanese ⇔ English.
*The ratio between Japanese and English translations is fifty-fifty.
Required skills and experience
■ Translation work experience (5 years or more)
*In any capacity (in-house or freelance).
■ Translation experience with business documents involving IT, digital, manufacturing, finance, pharmaceuticals, business strategy, personnel, and legal affairs.

◎ In addition to English, individuals who are fluent in languages such as Spanish, French, German, Chinese, and Korean are also welcome to apply.
◎ Translators who majored in translation in a graduate program, undergraduate program, or vocational school are most certainly welcome.
Pay and working conditions
TMJ Japan does not hire translators directly.
Our translators and reviewers translate and review documents upon conclusion of a business contract and a non-disclosure agreement, setting the pay on a case-by-case basis.
