We are seeking J to E translators specializing in legal documents/contracts..
Field: Legal documents, contracts
Pay: 8.5~ JPY (tax excl.) per character
Form of employment: Subcontractor (freelance)
Experience: 5+ years of experience in legal translation
You will be asked to take a translation trial prior to registration.

Work Description
Our translators and reviewers work on projects with a focus on quality and delivery time.

Our coordinators contact the translator to check their availability.
→If available, the translator coordinates quality, delivery timeline, and price with the coordinator and commences work.
→Upon completion, the translator submits the deliverable to the coordinator.
［Review］
Our coordinators contact the reviewer to check their availability.
→If available, the reviewer coordinates quality, delivery timeline, and price with the coordinator and commences work.
→After completion, the reviewer submits the reviewed deliverable to the coordinator.
Required Skills and Experience
Translation work experience (5 years or more)
Translation experience with business documents involving IT, digital, manufacturing, finance, pharmaceuticals, business strategy, personnel, and legal affairs.
Pay and Working Conditions
TMJ Japan does not hire translators directly.
Our translators and reviewers can start to work after completing a business contract and signing a non-disclosure agreement. Pay is negotiated per project.
Selection Process
1. TMJ screens application documents
2. Candidates complete a trial translation
3. Those who passed the trial sign a freelance contract and NDA with our company
4. Consult on translation and review projects as needed
